Egypt 2006

Miriam Zia : "There is something mystical, yet humbling, about Egypt. I could feel it on our treks along ancient paths of the Sinai mountains or when sitting around a campfire, gazing at a sky of a million stars that shimmered on the Red Sea. I could even sense it when waking up in the heart of desert dunes with a feeling of solitude, reminding me that I was far away from commodity and civilization. When I got back from the ecotours trip, I was faced with one constant question: "Did you see the Pyramids?". I would smile and realize that I experienced Egypt in a way that most people never will, and that this experience was my own to keep. So I would answer: "Yeah, I did see the Pyramids..."

Peru 2005

Egypt 2006

Laura Lebel : C'est la meilleure façon de découvrir un pays. Voici 7 points qui expliquent pourquoi : 1. Pour les connaissances et les expériences des guides organisateurs mais aussi pour leur générosité 2. Pour la variété des volets exploités: culturel, sorties variées, sports, plein air, les rencontres avec les personnes locales, détente, archéologie, restos branchés versus resto dans une ruelle du marché 3. Pour la qualité des visites, des logements, des restos, des transports 4. Pour l'originalité et le caractère unique de certaines activités : sandboard, mouton dans le sable, nuit dans le désert, journée avec les archéologues, dîner chez les bédouins, baignade dans le désert ! 5. Pour la flexibilité de l'organisation de manière générale et particulière : accommodation des dates allée/retour, adaptation de l'itinéraire, changement des activités selon les désirs des participants (toujours avec un consensus) 6. Pour l'attention qu'on accorde à la préparation du voyage et au retour du voyage avec les participants : rencontre pré et post, soirées, dvd des photos 7. Pour la prévenance des organisateurs face aux risques liés à mes allergies : j'ai pu manger pleins de bonnes choses malgré mon allergie aux arachides et j'ai survécu aux dromadaires ;) Avec ma carrière qui débute, je sais que je n'aurai plus beaucoup d'opportunités de faire de grands et longs voyages. Alors, avec Ecotours, j'ai pu voir et vivre le plus beau de l'Égypte en seulement deux semaines sans me compliquer la tête, sans perte de temps, sans attrape touriste. J'y ai vu les choses essentielles et immanquables (Caire, les Pyramides, la mer Rouge) mais aussi des choses extraordinaires et ordinairement inaccessibles aux simples touristes (le Sinaï et ses bédouins, Siwa, villa sur la Méditerranée). J'apprécie énormément que le nombre de personne dans les groupes soit restreindre à une dizaine. Mon côté ingénieur me dit donc que c'était un voyage hautement optimisé ;)

Egypt 2004-2005
