Days 1 to 4
Antananarivo and the High Plains
The Malagasy adventure begins! The capital is a great initiation to the local culture, which is as rich and vibrant as its nature. We will spend the first night in a nice little hotel in the city, we get ourselves ready for the journey.
We begin the great descent to the South by stopping by a little community where sustainable development projects exist since the 1970’s. Father Romain has been collaborating with these villagers, where Philippe Razanakolona participated in a cheese-factory and a farm-school project.
Throughout the different meetings on this trip, we will be able to better understand the reality of this poor country’s situation, and the positive outcomes of such development projects that help increase the quality of life for these villagers.
