Emanuelle Rech

Born in Brasília, Brazil’s capital, Emanuelle arrived i n Canada in 2001. Starting with Vancouver to initiate her cultural integration in North America, it was Montreal’s multiculturalism that attracted her to move to the East Coast a few years later and add a third language to her portfolio. Having completed her studies in Psychology, she has a knack for studying human behavior and this makes of her an innate analyst always on the lookout for new and interesting encounters. Being a born good communicator, she loves people and the diversity she finds in them when she travels.
Emanuelle has worked for the Justice Department’s educational programs. It is her work towards prevention with many teenagers and their families, as well her volunteering for an anti-suicide NGO that she rediscovered how much she truly appreciated what life had to offer.
Her well-roundedness can easily be shown by her career path: apart from her Psychology major, she also completed 11 years of ballet, 3 years of video production and even participated in the Brazil’s current president’s re-election communication campaign. Her sense of organization, dynamic nature and dedication to her responsibilities made it possible for her to thrive in such a plethora of projects.
Emanuelle has had the opportunity to travel outside Brazil many times, but the discoveries of the amazing natural treasures of her own country are one of the things that truly motivate her to keep exploring the four corners of Brazil. The beautiful beaches of the South and North-East, the incredible forests of the Pantanal in the Central-West region, and the rest of the country are as varied as is her career, and this may be the reason for her continued passion for Brazilian expeditions. Being from Brasília herself, she always takes the time to intricately explain how the architectural beauty and local culture make this city much more than an administrative political capital.
Her passion of people and their cultures brought her to the discovery of many small villages, namely Pirenópolis and Chapada dos Veadeiros, two examples of small towns with unique traditions that are surrounded by absolutely breathtaking natural forests, waterfalls and mountains.
Of course, she also knows the magical city of Rio de Janeiro yet it is this touristy city’s poor population that reminds Emanuelle of the complex economic and political situation that Brazil needs to solve. Also preoccupied by global warming and the climate changes we are all experiencing, this young Brazilian has taken it upon herself to make the world around her more conscious of the impact we each have on our planet and how we can act to move towards a solution.
She has thus decided to put her energy and enthusiasm in the organization of ecotourism trips that will allow her not only to take full advantage of what beautiful things life has to offer but also share her passion for different cultures and all the while having a positive impact!
